Chief Visibility Officer
Montrie Rucker Adams, APR, DTM, MBA is president and “Chief Visibility Officer” of Visibility Marketing Inc. The organization helps businesses communicate the right messages to key audiences. Through strategic and effective marketing communications and public relations campaigns, companies become “more visible”—thus increasing their public awareness and ultimately impacting the bottom line.
Clients have included The Dept. of Health and Human Services, The Ohio Department of Health, Cleveland Municipal School District, Cuyahoga County, Cleveland Clinic, Case Western Reserve University and Kent State University.
Adams has contributed to several publications including The Plain Dealer, Women of Color Devotional Bible, BlackAmericaWeb.com, and Kaleidoscope magazine where she once served as Managing Editor and Editor-In-Chief.
Her civic responsibilities include serving as president of the Board of Directors for Continue Life Inc., a homeless shelter and transitional housing program for expecting and parenting young women and East End Neighborhood House. She served on the Community Advisory Board of the Case Western Reserve University Flora Stone Mather Center for Women. She is a former board member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), and a lifetime member of the National Black MBA Association. She serves on the Boards of the African American Philanthropy Committee, The Better Business Bureau, Breakthrough Schools and Reach Success.
Dubbed The Dream Sherpa, Adams authored Just Do Your Dream! A 7-Step Guide to Help You Do What You Always Wanted her latest book that encourages and inspires people to move forward with long-held desires.
